James Morgan
James Morgan is the managing director and owner of Morgan Trusts & Tax Planning Ltd Solicitors. A qualified solicitor for over 25 years, James has practised as a specialist private client solicitor in King’s Lynn since 1999, having previously worked from 1993 to 1999 for Wedlake Bell Solicitors in London. In 2016 he formed Morgan TTP with his longstanding team of assistants and support staff as a specialist private client firm so he could be more focused on his many longstanding clients’ needs. James specialises in capital tax planning for high net worth individuals, many of whom are farmers or owner/managers of their own businesses, and all related issues such as trusts, probate, estate management and care issues.
James’ roots are in Norfolk. His father was a solicitor in King’s Lynn from 1958 to 2004 and James attended Gresham’s School in Holt before attending University College London and Guildford Law School. James has always felt local business people should be involved in the local community and he has therefore held numerous political, business and charitable posts over the years and is presently Deputy Chairman of Governors at Gresham’s School, chairing the Staff Pay and Condition Committee having chaired the Estates Committee for many years until recently. When not working or supporting his wife’s equine and son’s sporting endeavours James tries to play golf and read military history books.
